And that’s as much work as I’ve done…a walk around the harbour and a stop for coffee and a little more chat. Home tomorrow, jiggerty jig - time to square up to the week and get my domestic on! I’ve been a good cardmaker and finally forced five of the six required marathon cards out of my head. Here’s a badly taken sneak peek of the one featuring a gnome….or two….
Ha. Remember the fluffy white stuff…! Retro gnomes! Anyway, whilst I drive home, please reveal your workspace and the reasons for it, no judgement over degrees of tidiness..we just want to see what you’re doing with what. Thanks, as always!
Oh bliss! The seaside and a good friend. After all the window work you deserve it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Woyww

Full of envy here both for the seaside and the good chat with a good friend! Great sneak peak of the gnomes and have a safe journey home.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels Julia. Glad you have managed to have fun with Jan. I have been using my fluffy stuff recently too lol. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteOh nothing quite like natter with a dear friend is there?! Does cheer ones heart and thinking and praying for your mumma too, seems to be a busy day for you and drive home too, think it might be a few hours for you from Wales. Pleasant though is you like driving, I have that white fluffy stuff it’s so much fun, as I’m not into gnomes for some reason like the birds didn’t appeal me that Tim Holtz stamps had, but have used my fluffy stuff mostly on fluffy sheep on nativity images! Very handy Schtuff to quote Darnell. π
ReplyDeleteI’m back again after silence, but busy again as usual .. sending loads of prayer hugs your way, dear Julia. And a BIG thank you for sharing even when on hols, how is that for dedication?
Thanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, prayer hugs Shaz in Oz.x

Sounds like a wonderful break - great scenery and lots of laughter. The little gnome is looking cute and the 'puffy stuff' beard is a great idea - very effective.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of your time with Jan,

Wales is a beautiful place for sure. The weather was lovely here on Monday and then rained yesterday but as I was doing mum's housework that was good for me as it keeps the heat down.Today looks cloudy but we'll see. I didn't htink I liked Gnomes on cards but somehow one has arrived at my door so we'll see. Have alovely trip home and a very happy woyww, Angela x13x
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW. Glad you have been having a happy time in sunny South Wales! Fluffy white stuff. Not used that before, but now I want some. I have in the past used cotton wool balls stuck down, but perhaps your clever stuff is better? Ali x #14
ReplyDeleteGlad you and Jan got chance to catch up. I love the way you had to blog in separate rooms π.
ReplyDeleteCute gnome. My preference to ignore the C word till December is being increasingly tested π
Safe journey home

Love that gnome!
ReplyDeleteGlad you managed a trip to the seaside!
Safe travels!
How lovely that you're at Jan's writing this! Funny how you had to "separate" to get things done. You two wouldn't do well working in an office together LOL. Love the white stuff on the gnome and I have no idea what it could be! Looks like something that could be useful in making textures for messy art! Travel safely, Julia - sounds like a long drive home! xx zsuzsa (will be linking up later)
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to have a visit with Jan, by the sea too. I am not sure how far apart you live, but hope you had a good journey home. We had a bit of a scare as Kathryn was sent home from school to have a Covid test, thankfully it was negative. She is not well though, tummy upset I think. Have a great week Angela #9 I will let you know when the parcel arrives, but thank you for sending it. xx
ReplyDeleteOo-ah Gnmomes! I'll be back to spy(der)on that post later. I have Gnome cards to do... they are staring at me now. The sea looks lovely, I should post more pictures of the beaches near me. I kinda take them for granted, and I shouldn't do that. Have a lovely journey home, and I bet you have already planned your next visit. Stay Safe, Happy WOYWW ((Lyn))18
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you to have time together, it makes one whole again. I love here close by scenery. And going home is always happiness. Our forecast is high winds and rain, now 4.4o a m why I don't know, but hub got the harvest DONE. Like we are free !! Love those little Gnomes I force myself NOT to buy more. Went on the leaf kick and got to stop !!! Enjoy a great week. Happy WOYWW
ReplyDeleteIt was so wonderful to see you and give you a hug! Thanks for making the journey over, I hope it’s not too long before we can do it again. The gernomes make me laugh, they’ll be a hit at the workshop for sure!

I cannot think of anything nicer than you two being together - what a wonderful time you both must have had. Praying for a safe journey home for you this morning.
ReplyDeleteI love your gnome stamped and embossed in gold and then with the fluffy white stuff plus the rich colouring - sounds perfect for one of your cards Julia.
Hugs, Neet 4 xx
Sorry I’m not joining in the fun this week. I’m on my sick bed with Covid and feel crap....I’m soooo glad I’m double jabbed.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs

The beautiful paper pack has been delivered, many thanks x
ReplyDeleteI see my eyes have turned green again . . . . . funny how they do that now and again!!
ReplyDeleteYour comment about separate rooms made me laugh, started at a craft group once and hit it off with one of the other ladies - we were told to sit at separate tables in future - same problem as you two!!! Love it!!
Look forward to seeing the whole card, I do remember the foamy stuff!!
Have a good week
