I swear to you that I’m using those Perspextives as often as I can. I can only use them on Scrapbook layouts though because
I don’t want to give them away. That’s an embarrassing admission really, for a grown up, but I can’t be the only one, surely?! It’s taken me ages to work out what the gold/yellow thing at front right is...ended up going to have a proper look. It’s a Perspextive...2019. I instantly remember that I was trying to make it fit on a LO but it was a bit too big. Or shiny. Or unsubtle. All the reasons I bought it! My needle case is freshly placed on the laptop stand. On Tuesday afternoons I take my sweet Ma-In-Law to a Craft Bee and I work on my embroidery and enjoy a couple of hours of local natter. It was in the bag with the embroidery (I took it all on holiday) and I need it at my desk...I found myself stitching on a LO last month. Although really, never again.

hmm. I am still on 527 this week...but no matter, we are here...
ReplyDeleteYour desk doesn't look that bad to me - full, but quite tidy...have a great day.
I have 527 too but I may be wrong Julia. Glad I've finally managed to check back in after going AWOL on the visiting front. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
ReplyDeleteEarly start for me today! Glad to hear you get in a bit of stitching time! xx Jo

Oh Julia is it 527 or 528? Your desk is a little different from last week, a busy tidy desk today. Have a good week. Ani #1
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a pretty tidy desk to me, Julia! I have no idea what a perspective is... I’m on week 527 too - I think we may possibly be in the majority here lol lol! Whatever week it is, I hope it is a good one for you.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,
Shoshi #9
Definitely 527 today not 528! Good to catch up yesterday, glad all is well π

Hi Julia, I thought your desk looks tidier than usual.
ReplyDeleteLike the colour of the 12x12 over on the left.
That's nice that you enjoy going to the craft bee with your mil.
Hope you have a lovely whizzday. Sue #10
527 or 528? Hehehe this is why I never number mine....I’m easily confused ππππ especially in the heat. My counting is focusing on just how many Dod still has to work at the mo....today is day 9 wahoooooo only 8 more to go.
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Helen's right it is 527 Julia, you jumped a week last time. The weeks go to fast as it is but in the end I guess it doesn't matter Lol! The desk is well tidy today so I'm thinking something is about to happen soon. Bet you enjoyed the Craft Bee, more chat than craft if ours is anything to go on. Have a lovely week and a happy woyww, Angela x14x
ReplyDeleteThat is an impressively tidy looking desk so you must have been busy and it looks poised for action. I look forward to seeing the embroidery at some point. Have a lovely week. Happy WOYWW. With love & God Bless, Caro x (#15)
ReplyDeleteVery tidy desk and it’s lovely that you spend time with your MIL. Mine died 37 years ago and I miss her still.
ReplyDeleteI also thought it was #527 but if you say #528 then #528 it is. Hehehe..... your desk doesn't look too bad this week; there is quite a bit there but all sort of neat and tidy! Have a good rest of the week!
ReplyDeleteGreat desk, neat piles!!!
ReplyDeleteMine is a 'collecting' desk this week but heigh ho! We have a lot going on at the moment so life is very interesting .......
have a good week

Never mind the number... I am back again this week and broke my brain about 'perspextives' ... what on earth do you mean with that? I have no clue what you could mean. YOur desk looks neat to me but I'm worried about the table behind the window, filled with papers it looks like 'administration', eeeckkk!!! I hope you enjoy (sunny?!) days without too much 'official documents' on your plate. Love from Holland, Marit #18
ReplyDeleteOoh what a lovely tidy desk. I have no idea what a Pespextives is but it sounds intriguing and useful! Have a great week and do show your embroidery to us soon won't you - please!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Diana x #19
Had to chuckle dear Julia that the Perspective thingy was too bright large etc all just why you bought it, sounds like me, see something and think yess!
ReplyDeleteThat will work a treat, buy it and it’s not all it appeared to be!
Or often in my case see something I’m lead to think just looks great then find it a year later trying to recall how and why I bought it!
Happy WOYWW. Thanks for sharing so faithfully, Julia, Shaz in Oz.x #20

PS also meant to say glad you and mumma in law go stitching too, how great.. an outlet for all. Xx
ReplyDeleteHi Julia, back from having my PICC line inserted, all went well, just a little sore at the moment, but that will go. Painless procedure, so that was good! I have to go Google Perspextives now, never come across those. Love & hugs, Shaz XxXxXx#7
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what week it is ....just happy to get back once a month and have a peek at desks. have lovely week.

Hi Julia, nope you are totally not alone. I think that is why I did the scrapbooking I did was to keep the shiny things that I bought to decorate them with hahaha. I even bought a metric ton of the military branch things my son is serving in to do some albums for him and he gave me albums and name tapes too. but, I have not touched them so, I am now officially "5 years behind" on that project. ~Stacy #23
ReplyDeleteHi Julia, I totally get why you don't want to give away the embellishments that you love so much! Perfect to use them in your pages, rather than squirreling them away somewhere because they are too pretty to use - how often have we done that! LOL! I've been sick all week, hardly wanting to lift a finger much less craft anything, but I did manage to get one thing done. Hopefully I will do better next week. Lindart #24
ReplyDeleteHi Julia, your desk looks just fine to me. Nice paper waiting to be scrapped there too. The craft bee sounds like fun, not to mention a good reason to be with your mother-in-law. Hope we all get to see the embroidery when finished. Have a wonderful week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #25
ReplyDeleteWell I put 528, so that is two of us - nothing new in me losing days. I wrote my weight down for the GP yesterday on today's date and looking back through the last month cannot find where I gained that extra day - all the weights are different and as each is on a printed sheet (with dates) where I put medication taken and times I cannot see where I went wrong. So it is not going to worry me that I am Mrs Muddle once more - but this time on WOYWW.
ReplyDeleteWhat's Perspextive ... 2019? I am puzzled. Doesn't take much as demonstrated above. Perhaps I need to go to bed and get up again in the morning.
Have a great week - as which one it is
Hugs, Neet 5 xxx
Hi, Julia! Sorry no crafting for me. Someone hit the back of my car on Monday! What a way to ruin a week! Been dealing with insurance agents, ours and hers. Had to take it to the body shop to get estimates for repairs for if and when one of the insurance companies approves the claim. Then had to drive to the motor vehicles department to get a new license plate. She hit us so hard, it folded our back plate in half! So no time or attitude for crafting. Needless to say I have been crabby! However your trip to sewing group sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool that you take your Ma-in-law to her Craft Bee!
ReplyDeleteNice that you got oodles done this week.
Have a wonderful week!
