What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 510

Oh what a week. Please forgive my epic fail on the visiting; it was on my list but I was asleep in my chair before I could start browsing. Busy days. But its calm now. She says, knowing that saying it in writing will probably nobble the calm! So today...look, a bit tidy,

I’m taking part in a scrapbook LO challenge and had picked some papers to muck about with while I was on the phone. On hold. The Colour Wheel ink pads are from my scrapbook ‘to go’ bag, easy to pack and space efficient. See the big old chisel tip glue pen lying there by the deckchair? Treasure that is...I use them to re-tack my scan’n’cut mats. It’s a Zig, and they are not as easy to come by as they once were. Although clearly if there’s a shortage of double sided tape, I will be able to help you out, judging from my collection at right! So that’s me this morning, I’m hoping it will be a terrible mess by this evening; time will tell! Join in please, show us what you’re doing at your crafty space by linking here after you’ve blogged a pic of your desk. Thank you, I really do look forward to seeing you!

  2. Morning Julia. Phew - that was a bit scary - all that open space on your desk - then I read your post and realised it was just sitting patiently awaiting your ministrations. Enjoy!!!
    Take care. God bless.

  3. I do hope that you get time to muss up that desk a little, it b'aint be natural! I never thought I'd see a chisel as part of a paoercrafter's kit but hey, there's a first time for everything 😉

  4. I have quite a supply of d/s tape too.. but strangely not much of the width I tend to use... go figure. am enabling again this week (you missed out last week, but not sure my goodies were your style so that's ok!) 5. Your desk looks peaceful and calm. Wouldn't it be nice if "Life" was that way more? With the icy weather I've had time to catch up, can't travel so working on paper work for mom...I'd like to know how I got this job. Have a good week, may life be good to you.

  6. It's nice and tidy to start the day Julia, I seem to be crammed in the middle of mine again surrounded by Wip's. I know what you mean about falling asleep, i've only got to park my bum on a chair and my body say's sleep! It's like hypnosis, it's probably why I craft mostly standing up, i'd never get anything done if I sat hee hee!! Hope you get some creative time today & treasure that Zig pen, although i'm sure Tonic do some that size too.
Thank you for hosting & Happy WoywW Tracey #7 (?)

  8. Happy WOYWW. I hope that you do get to sit down and do some scrapbooking. It is annoying when other things get in the way. I love those inkpads - so useful. Ali x #9

  9. Sleeping In the chair?....now that’s something I keep doing and it’s so out of character for me really. I guess these bugs affect us more as we get older.....roll on Spring eh? I hope you get really messy later.

  10. I had an enormous urge to sit at your desk just then and play with all your stuff haha.
I’m packing my basket today ready for my PHD (projects half done) day and a day with the lovely Viv Sliwka Of Hens Teeth, so I’ll have plenty to show you next week Julia. Enjoy your scrapbook challenge

  13. Hi Julia,
Loving your clean and tidy desk. I'm glad someone else has a double-sided tape collection - my problem is they either stick too well, especially if I have misaligned something and want to move it or they don't stick at all, such as when I'm attaching a heavy, decorated card topper to a base and it starts lifting off. Perhaps one day I'll find the perfect tape but in the meantime I'll just keep adding to my collection!
Hope you have a great week,
    Diana xx 16

  18. Hope you soon get in a right old mess because that means that you are using that gorgeous paper that is on your desk. What glorious shades of blue.
Good luck with the LO challenge although I don't think you need it, you are a great scrapper.

  19. Hi Julia, I love a scrapbook challenge, I find it really gets me digging through the stash and thinking creatively. Hah! your pile of DST pales into insignificance next to my DST Mountain - somehow, I have accumulated so much that I have three drawers full, one for normal, one for extra strong red tape and yet another for foam tape, oh and one for the refills for assorted tape guns, so that's four really .... don't know how that happened ... a fear of running out, an irresistible bargain, that thing where your desk is such a mess that you can't find your DST so you buy some more .... all of the above :o) Have a great week! 21. Hi Julia! your desk looks ready to rock 'n' roll! I have a few of those wheels myself, but I don't use them since I started using Distress Inks. I do have some interesting wheels, such as Tuscan colours! I should get them out, the colours all go together! Have fun with your layouts! Lindart #26

  28. HI Julia, since its evening at my house now, hopefully there is a creative whirlwind on your desk now. :)
Ooh I have some similar pads, I have little finger daubers for them as my petal ones died years ago, but I remember being able to lift them out and use those kinds.
