It was this beautiful card:
Our lovely WOYWW logo reproduced, embellished beautifully and numbered in that shadow technique that really is amazingly effective here. Isn't it beautiful. The card contains computer generated text that is flattering, friendly, lovely and purports to be from any and all of those who take part in WOYWW. It's quite the loveliest; I look at it more than once a day and it makes me smile. Just as on a Wednesday when I ask you to link and perpetuate the foolishness of WOYWW, I can only say THANK YOU.
It seriously is a lovely card isn't it.
Feeling inspired - or perhaps - enabled?

A lovely card Julia. I do like the shadow effect. Well done on 500 WOYWW posts. I loved being a part of it, but Wednesday is such a difficult day for me, and this Friday blog seems to the only time I really get to sit at the computer long enough to visit blogland. But good for you. Long may it continue. Kate xx
ReplyDeleteWOW. I'm glad Jan let us know that Shaz made it. It's a beauty and so appropriate, too. I want to join in again, but it takes forever to get any posts together, since I'm still having problems with my keyboard which chooses to work at its leisure. You have no idea how any missing letters I had to add to the last sentence.
ReplyDeleteYou have made WOYWW a household name, and I am SO proud to know you through the interweb.
Hi Julia, That is lovely and so kind of the sender to say it's from all us deskers.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely weekend. Sue
Hi Julia, great to see you joining us this Friday. it is indeed a lovely card, very thoughtfully made. Happy Friday and wishing you a great weekend. Hugs Angela xXx
ReplyDeletea wonderful card, for a wonderful lady and wonderful event! it has made me smile today too!
ReplyDeleteI've just received this post...Saturday.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful card and thoughts. I think whoever sent the card spoke for all of us about our Wednesday meet up. I don't think I could get through the week without it now. It puts purpose in the week, all the other days seem like a Saturday now I'm retired. I think you are wonderful to maintain this week after week and I am indebted to you for all the friends, fun, tears, teaching and goodwill I have found here.
I feel so loved thanks to you.
Enjoy your beautiful card.
Wow! What a beautiful and appropriate tribute! I think it deserves a place of honor, like an easel or a frame. The creator made it with love and lots of talent!
ReplyDeleteHi Julia, oh wow that's beautiful! I love taking part in WOYWW... thank you for keeping it going so long. 500 is a big achievement! Here's to the next 500. Hugs, Heather xx
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm so late in commenting this week....my ipad is still playing up and refusing to let me leave comments and this is the first time I've had chance to use the laptop.
ReplyDeleteI love the card...we all have a lot to celebrate thanks to you so that should get us all smiling. It's really lovely to see you linking up this week.
Hugs,
