What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 463

Desk week 468 on 26 May will be the ninth, 9th, NINTH anniversary of WOYWW.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Kelly  tells me it will be the 23 May. correctly. Good grief, you should thank her, she just single handedly reclaimed 3 days of your life! You know how much it means to me, and I hope if it means something for you too, that you'll join the anniversary circle and play PIF. Pass It Forward. It means making an ATC which features the acronym or the number 9 somewhere on it and sending/delivering it to the person who posts immediately after you on the WOYWW 468 link list. Lots of us make more than the one and invite other Deskers to swap with them as well. It's actually quite fun, and prompts a nice run of happy post! The only stipulation for entry is that you have 'the one' ATC ready to post on the day. It's not hard, but nor is it obligatory; there is no need to explain why you cannot or do not want to take part, it is entirely up to you. I've posted a step by step 'how to' page accessible at the top of this blog.
Meanwhile good reader, link your WOYWW post here and visit each other...you may find it's not just me that seems to be making little cards!

  3. Hmm - I might be finished my first year of uni by then so might be able to play! Do you (or anyone) have any tips for cutting the perfect ATC sized blank? I gave up years ago and just started buying them as my cutting skills are awful - I keep hoping there is an ATC sized cutter but have yet to find one.

  5. Pretty orderly, I like the hanging tag in the background says October I think. And looks like you are making some background masters. Could not sleep so got to post early. Snow is glistening in the moonlight yet. Enjoy a fun day.

  6. What a fabulous achievement Julia, 9 years you must be so proud I know I would be. Looks like your ATC's are well on their way, I spy some super backgrounds upon your desk. A beautiful way to share your milestone celebration.. Good things come in small packages...!! Thank you for the warmest of welcomes last week, look forward to visiting WOYWW.

  7. Happy WOYWW. I have an idea for an ATC. Now just need the time and energy to make at least one of them. That can wait until we get back from Spain. Both me and hubby desperately need this break in the sunshine - a lot going on with our farm business, and this winter has been so rubbish. Ali x #12

  18. I'm so looking forward to the ATC swap again this year and will be open to swapping up to 12. I always make my ATCs in groups of 13. Something about the Baker's Dozen hehe. I've also numbered my datebook and we will be rolling over #500 the first Wed in 2019!

  19. Still get deck chair envy every time I see yours, never find them though, not even in Holland when I did honestly look for them. One day!
Yep, all ready and raring to go with the ATC swap - having just swapped loads in Nijkirk - interesting as always to see the different styles you get with different countries - not all, but some. Promise not to send you one of my weird ones.
Hugs, Neet 3 (I think) xx

  20. Lookit me posting before 10am (my time) lol. I feel so productive! Love the little chopper. I have found while the big tools are great for big things, they do not have a place on my desk. So I bought a Tim Holtz 8.5 x 11" tonic paper cutter and a Tim Holtz Side Kick and my not having to get up to use the full size tools, makes it possible to stay at my desk longer and get more done as I tend to wander off when I get up lol.

NINE years :D. I remember 2 like it was yesterday... Well the older I get the faster time zoooooooooooooooms by lol. I'm a little red roadster at my age : D.

  21. I haven't made an ATC in nine years or more! I just never had the love for them (or tags, or inchies for that matter) that so many do. I did try to like them, I just have a hard time with little things or 12 x 12 things lol!
    Happy Wednesday!

  22. Hi Julia, It looks like you have quite a pile of ATC's started already. gosh, I have not made those in years. I like the size of your trimmer too that looks really handy for a portability standpoint. :) ~Stacy #33

  24. Hi Julia, it looks like you've made a good start on your ATCs ... and you're way ahead of me. I plan to join in. Just need a bit of inspiration, not to mention time ... goodness knows where the days all go! Well, I know where today went but it's the others that are a puzzle. I'll be off now, put my thinking cap on and wait for inspiration to hit me. Have a great week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #25
