What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 374

*passes the smelling salts*....apologies if you're feeling faint at the sight of this tidied slightly more organised and actually productive desk. I think I'm finally getting a grip gentle reader, and forcing the cogs to turn will, I hope, get the ideas and inclination flowing!
I think the picture is self explanatory, and considering our gloomy weather, the light in here looked pretty good at six o,clock last evening!
Come on then, show and tell y'all.

  1. Good to see you with a messy area - means that you are doing something (even just thinking about it is 'something'). I love my tidy area but it is not as heartwarming as seeing some bits and pieces out there.
Think I need to enter one or two challenges to get my juices flowing, is there something you could enter - lots of "tag" challenges out there.
Have a good week so good to have you back here.
Hugs, Neet 1 (I think) xxx

  8. It was really good to see you in one of the photos last week....you are looking great my friend.....keep up the good work. And now you are making me smile by getting back into your crafting and creating. Little steps but you will be up and in full flow soon.

  9. Wild applause from this neatnik! If the ideas still don't come flooding in, than go on reorganizing drawers and such. Excellent for the soul and the brain (and the craft room) and that has to be good, right? Keep on keepin on, my friend! Remember when you get frustrated, the tortoise won in the end! Love and hugs, Darnell

  12. The light was much better where you are yesterday evening. So dark and murky here but at least I managed to get home before the rain hit again.
Lovely to see some activity on your desk. Very pretty cards.

  18. Hi Julia,, great to see you doing. I admit I actually did a lot of tidying and reorganising- sometimes picking up something would make me think of a way to use it, or something I could try. Love the Thank You cards- great how you've used that circles die. I've seen it a lot and could never think of a way to use it. You may have just sold it to me! Love & hugs, see you soon.Shaz XXXXX

  20. Happy WOYWW. Yay to crafting - lots of lovely Thank You cards - and a big 'embellie' box. I only just remembered that I didn't get a Xmas card made last month (I promised myself that I would start in July this year!). Oh well, a reminder not to set myself too many targets. Enjoy your week. Ali x #22

  31. Julia, I always love your work desk! I especially love your box "full of goodies"! I'm a sucker for sheets of bling like you have all stashed in that box! I'm sure I will never use all that I have acquired in a lifetime, but never the less, I continue to keep bringing that stuff home, in the name of a good deal! LOLOL Blessings for some good mojo this week! Felicia, #34

  34. Oh.. they go on the cards! duh! I've only had 1/2 cup of coffee so far this morning. I really like the scribbly circle die. Have added that to my purchase list. Hugs!

  35. Oh well as I wasn't feeling up to much I have just sat in the garden and commented on today's desks. Hoping I can manage all today, although found one G+ already I can't reply to - shame, I even searched for an email address but G+ wasn't having any of it for the likes of me.
Hope you are feeling OK today Julia.

  36. Yipee! You are hanging out at your desk and playing! How fun. I wanna come over and dig through that box of goodies that is front and center. I'll bet there are lots of fun embellishments in there to coo over!

  37. Thank you for your visit and your lovely comment, Julia - you are very kind about my handwriting which I don't like very much - if I make an effort it's better but that was a bit of a scrawl because they were just notes to remind myself what I did! I had such fun experimenting with the mother of pearl effect. The project I have been working on is indeed very small!

So glad to know that you are making good progress and able to be creative again. Wishing you all the best for your continued recovery - it's early days yet and one does have to be patient as these things take time, don't they.

  43. Very happy to see those swirly scribbly dies being to put to good use already. I do love a simply styled card, especially when mass producing. I could see that 'Thanks' being swapped for 'Merry' to make seasonal cards. Not gonna say the 'C' word just yet!
