Beating a deadline

Mr Dunnit is spray painting at the workshop for the first couple of hours today, which gives me much needed time at home. So here I am, blogging. I am a genius at prioritising! I'm still wallowing in smiley goodwill over the WOYWW anniversary last week. And on that basis, I thought I'd show you the scrapbook layout I made up at the last Crop. Last month.
Note the date, gentle reader. It's the photo of us at the WOYWW Crop LAST year. I figure that as long as I had it done before the 2015 photo was taken, I'd be ahead. And so it was. I work well with a deadline!
I'm yet to show you the bounty of ATCs I've received. I'm really enjoying them. They've only just got to my desk, I've had them on the table by my armchair for looking at and gloating over in the evenings. There is so much to smile about from being a Desker! Linking with Annie this morning, Friday Smiles...I think so!

  1. Love the LO Julia and like you, I've been doing a lot of smiling over all the wonderful ATCs I've been sent this year. There is so much love and friendship that has come out of our Wednesdays isn't there?
    Thanks my friend.
    Hugs,
    Annie x

  4. Happy Friday Julia...I'm not the only one then who is missing being at my desk, I think I'm having withdrawals as I haven't made a card for a week - and what a fab time everyone had last week - thank you so much for hosting WOYWW. Great page and love the sentiment. Have a lovely weekend Robyn

  5. I think this is the perfect way to share a smile. And of course, your reasoning was, as usual, flawless. And there is no deadline to friendship. Those ATCs are proof that you started something that has only gotten bigger and better each year. So glad you are gloating. After all, it's the way we deskers have of showing you how much you are loved. And of course, that's enough to put a smile on anyone's face. Have a great weekend, and don't work too hard at the shop.

  13. Happy Anniversary to all the WOYWWers. I miss reading everyone´s post, but I am out every Wednesday from 9.30-9.30 so there is no way I can enter, or get around before the weekend to comment, and if I can´t do something properly, I tend not to do it at all. The crops look so much fun. Happy Friday - even if it is now Saturday afternoon! Kate x

  15. Great layout, Julia. I like the use of washi tape ... I keep meaning to use it on my pages and then forget. You did well to get this done before the 2015 crop ... I'm about three years behind on my Christmas pages and the deadline of Christmas 2015 is unlikely to make much impact on that :) Hugs, Elizabeth xx
