What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 279

You know I'm away right?  Yep, getting some late sun. So this is a recorded message - but, I have to say, it's actually pretty accurate.

I have some sensibility about me though, so although the old workdesk will still look very similar to this, before I left, I did pick out the ink pads and glues and remove them to their rightful places.  And this effort was made to prevent them from sitting on the desk in afternoon sun, gently baking dry.  Otherwise, they'd have stayed there - everything else has.  What?  I've been busy!
Christmas is still on my table, I keep telling myself to get used to the idea, but I still can't quite. Odd, because by the time Christmas is over, I'll really be in the mood to use glitter and tinsel!
Share then - what are you up to this Wednesday? Show us your work space, wherever and whatever...we consider it an invitation.

  19. I have to admit that I get quite a lot of Christmas stuff done in January - especially if it snows - think its because I am still in a glittery mood then too! Enjoy your hols.

  24. HI Julia, hope you are having a smashing holiday- it has to go better than the last! I can't 'feel' like Christmas too early in the year either, and can't make C cards unless I'm in the right mood. Have a lovely break Julia, Hugs, Shaz xxx

  25. Why were the inkpads put away? They should have gone with you and then you could have continued with "C" whilst sitting in the sun. Or do you just want to chill? Or am I just feeling jealous?

  26. Hope you're having a great time in the sun Julia!! Good thing you thought about removing the ink pads from the table... I think we all had 'accidents' with that, at least I learned from experience to never forget to close lids, store pencils horizontal and put ink pads in the drawer... happy woyww and hugs from (grey and rainy) Holland, Marit #38

  28. I think you are very sensible leaving the desk like that Lol! that way you don't have to try and remeber what you were doing before you went away and can just continue with where you left off when you get back right!

  30. Morning Julia or are you still abed? You chose a good week to visit sunnier climes! Freezing here altho the big yellow things looks set to make an appearance. You need to do what I did this year - spent January making Christmas cards before I put it all away again and whilst I was in the mood - you are right - AFTER the festivities is mor conducive to christmassy stuff! Have a good break, Cindy x

  40. Hope the sun is shining and that you can still dip your toes in The Med. LOVE the Rudolph with Robins stamps and card on the desk, brilliant! Glad to hear you take care of your inkpads at least! But "baking on the desk" implies that you expect the sun to shine whilst you're away, which if it turns out to be the case, why did you go away, lol!!!!

I am just the same about Christmas, reluctant to get going on it before, then afterwards I can do Christmas like crazy! Maybe I should just plan to do it in January and get it over with!
