What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 274

Oh, look..not very much!  I took this photo in a panic at about 7pm on Tuesday evening, and took another one about half an hour ago.  The light is the only change.  Even my glasses are still there...I'm typing this in something of a stupor of tiredness and short sightedness! I don't think much of this needs explaining, suffice to say that I've been playing around with some Christmas ideas, and am now planning to move on to some autumnal stuff.  Nothing like getting the seasons out of sync! My lovely bobbly pen is to hand, I'm still enjoying that. That roll of tape in front of the deckchair stand was free - someone had tried to force into a bowl shape - and the stall holder gave it to me because it wasn't going to sell.  Nice!  You can tell that I corralled the scissors and have managed with only two pairs so far...but don't hold your breath - it's only Wednesday!
Share your desk or workspace will ya?  How to and other explanations can be found via links at the top of this page.  It's easy, and it's fun, it's free and really, it's very friendly. So why wouldn't you....?

  1. I am falling in love with that wobbly pen. I have many bowl shaped tape rolls like yours, its the humidity that does that to mine, the layers slide and slide and now I have cones of tapes, drives me up the wall

  3. I have a stack of super thin red line tape s that are all stuck together. Way worse than a bowl! Crop may be in danger for me due to a birthday party I forgot about but trying to work it out. Frankly I am so sick of cleaning and decluttering at the moment I could use the break :)

  5. I hope you can overcome the stupor of tiredness soon :) Very tedious, being so tired, isn't it? But that's lovely light for 7pm. I love daylight saving here in summer (I would be in a minority, though), when we can have lovely light at 7pm and later :)
    Have a good week.

  7. The only thing I don't like about autumn is the early dark evenings - oh and the rain. let's hope we have a dry autumn.... love that bobbly pen - and I admit, I reject bowl shaped tape, but why? it works. so well done on grabbing a freebie.

Tidy looking desk there with gold ribbon front left and the 'knife block' back right. Wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of you.

  15. Morning Julia, your desk looks as inviting as ever. The view of your garden could be a tad distracting but, there again, it could also be a source of inspiration if you are planning autumn themed cards. I like the star bunting on the card that it propped up behind the misshapen roll of tape. Hope you get over your tiredness, take some rest, and have a great day. Hugs, Elizabeth x #26

I love the view of your garden - I think I need to move my craft table so that I can see out of the window.

  27. Those tape rolls just won't behave! As for scissors - all of mine are now corralled in the carousel, it is amazing, I even put them back when I am finished! I am pretty sure there is at least one more pair I haven't yet found on the desk though, or maybe they are on the floor on in the bits box!

Happy WOYWW, I did post after midnight but didn't get up early enough to be first!

  32. At least you can find your glasses, Julia! I've been going round in my prescription sunglasses cos I'd taken the others off in the garden (they slip off my head when bending), rested them on a plant and then couldn't remember where! Two days later, I've finally found them - the joys of getting old(er)! Have a great week xx

  52. Hello Julia,

No matter the condition of your desk, it always looks inviting. I think it's the nice big window letting the sun in. Perfect, really.

I didn't participate this week because there wasn't much new to share. Drats.

    Happy WOYWW,
    Hugs,
    Kay
