What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 273

WOYWW? What?  Check out this page and this page and they will, I hope, reveal almost as much as this picture:-
Coo - shaky arm photography, sorry!  I'm not you note, apologetic about the mess, although I do acknowledge that it did get very messy.  This is what happens when I sit down to make Christmas cards without the least idea of what I want to make and what supplies to use.  It's OK, I've cleared it up this morning. So I can start again.  My scissors pot was empty, which means I've buried about 5 pairs.  And I was wearing a pair of glasses when I took this photo and oh look - there's two pairs on the desk already. Wow!
I hope you like my new pen with the bobbles on top...I do.  It wobbles and clicks as I write,  and I feel, rather reflects the way my mind is working! Trusty iPad abandoned on top of notepad because the iPad stand had a card on it - which had wet glitter on it and - you get it...
So, now you've stared in horror, show us yours.  Perleeeeeeeeease.
Put WOYWW in your post title, make the post relevant to the photo of your workdesk/space and let us in to visit.  Marvellous!

  2. Wow, that's quite a busy desk... I hope you are doing Christmas cards for workshops not for general consumption, or that would be far too forward thinking!

yes, chaos rules here too when comes to crafty space!!
... or almost anywhere else come to think of it :D and am back after two weeks away no late note either.. ... now you have me wondering what happened to that card with wet glitter on it.. I trust it is was on top of iPad since dried, rather than under iPad. :D

  7. LOL! You always make me smile with your WOYWW posts. Getting the scoop on what is one your desk, WHY it's there, and what it all means in terms of thought process is interesting. I DO like your bobble-headed pen but I fear the clicking of the bobble would make me crazy. Reminds me of those things called Clackers - where they the rage here? God the clacking during school breaks drove me mental!

    :)

    Happy WOYWW

  8. See, that's what you get for starting on Christmas already. You would be nice and tidy if you were like me and leave Christmas to the last minute. Then you have the panic mess to end all messes.
That pen caught my eye straight away. It's brilliant, cool, funky and anything else I can think of, just luv it.
Have a great wobbly, clicky week.

  9. Well, I see you made your desk right comfy for me, even two pairs of glasses, thank you for that.

Why do scissors always burry themselves so deep? And is one the leader and the rest just follow????

    Have a great week
Krisha........can't believe I mad it under 50 this week.....woot! woot!

  13. Hi julia
Happy Wednesday .... Looks like you have been having a lovely play. Interesting that you say you have your glasses on as I can see at least 2 pairs on your desk... I hate the whole swapping to see thing and am currently on the train with my sunglasses on my head and my reading glasses on the end of my nose .... So I can look over the top and still see the rest of the world lol

  15. Ok, I'm almost feeling guilty. Part of my desk top is visible. Trust me, by the time my cards are made, my desk will look like your twin. Well, I don't have a cute little bobble pen and if I misplace my glasses I need help finding them. Other than that...could be twins. Have a most crafty week. Off I go to finish and then clean up so I can make another mess! Hugs!

  16. Well, that's certainly the desk of a productive worker - I hope you managed to make loads of Christmas cards. I love the pen although don't the clicks and wobbles get to you after a while and put you off what you want to write?!
Hope you have a great week,

  21. This is how I work! Get lots of stuff out, creative as I grab from the pile, using only a small portion of what I pulled. I laughed about the glasses as i am blind as a bat without mine, they don't leave my face unless it it to sleep or bathe. Hoping to see some of those Christmas cards next week!

  22. Your desk is normal for me, then I get to the point that I need to cklear up. Not there yet, ha ha. Fracnesca #32

We're having Christmas designs over here, but thankfully not resorted to playing the music just yet.
    Now here's a frightening piece of info... there's only 119days, 10 hours, 26 mins and 30 secs... sorry 29, 28, 27 26... oh bother!
    Humbug!

  36. I love this, I feel like I'm witnessing mad creative genius at work here! Just remember, if you have glitter on your hands, don't comb the cat. Trust me on that one. Are all your stamps wood mounted? Do you use clear? I don't think I've ever seen your whole stamp extravaganza! Hugs dear Julia. --Sandy Leigh

  38. Good morning Julia. There is quite a lot on your desk this morning. When I'm done making my photo cards then I'll be getting out my stamps to make some homemade cards. I think an iPad is my next big purchase so I'm excited to see that it can be used as a stand for cards also.

  39. That pen is CUTE, but it would definitely drive me crazy to write with it. Plus, my writing is bad enough already.

I had to laugh at your spotting the scissors in the photo but not on the desk. That happens to all of us, I wonder why?

    Happy creating and happy woyww!

As you will see, I can't get anywhere near my desk this week but hopefully will be able to over the next day or two.

  47. Ha! I linked up this morning and then spent the day reading a book. Just realizing I never commented here (or did any visiting, which I will do tomorrow.) Hope your WOYWW was a happy one. I only see one pair of scissors (but one is all you need at any given time.) :-)

  48. Hi Julia. Couldn't comment yesterday - despite NanG linking up for me, as I was "out of the country" - visiting England!!!
Long but good day - and I return to find this amazing hub of activity called your desk...Just LOVE that pen - might even need it today so the bobbing and clicking can keep me awake!!
    Take care. God bless.

  49. Not staring in horror: that was pretty much me as well; I have that snowman stamp, and can't wait to see what you do with it: the store sample was great (why I bought it), and I can't remember what it was, and my ideas have fallen flat...
