What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 243

Brace yourself.  I may not have made/had much time to spend at the desk, but my word, I've made a mess on it!  I'm working on some backgrounds using lots of stamps and inks for a bit of a 'free for all' workshop next month.  I'm having more fun than I thought I would..although it is in five minute bursts!

Even I'm at a bit of a loss to pick out bits to talk about, good grief it is a mess!  Still, at least it was daylight when I got home to take the photo (Tuesday afternoon) and this cold Wednesday I'm going to be a domestic goddess.  And a business administrator goddess.  And a laundry goddess.  And a craft goddess. And a computer tech goddess.  Seriously, it's a busy day!

    I really want to start using more stamping techniques. And I like the use of all your background designs.

    Thats what a real crafters desk should look like! I also recognise that face stamp, I have it to, (somewhere). Everything is 'somewhere' in this house.     Your desk is indeed busy, I wonder if there is any way to define the line between busy and mess, but yours certainly has not overstepped that mark yet. At least not in my humble opinion and if you can still work on it, then it is just busy and you have produced that pretty pink card on top.

    I blame the five minute bursts for all the mess - mine is as bad if not worse! I suppose five minute bursts are better than nothing but sooner or later we will have to face the big bad IsaidTidyUp - sorry! When the children were little it lived here permanently.

    I love this site as it gives me a reason to post each week and to do a recap of the previous week, of what I did and did not do and what I intend to do. It sort of gives me a place for accountability.

    I like colour and think photos really help a blog page with as concise writing as is possible - if there is too much writing I tend to gloss over it.

    Oh my word! If I could just alter the clock on my desk into a new car for the family, that would be just fab, but alas, my altering skills do not reach that far! How I wish they did! LOL! For now it will just have to be happy with pretty or grunge...I have not yet decided which!

    That most definitely looks like a busy day, or possibly just an excuse for one??!!! I'm sad about Archiver's, they made JoAnns and Michaels pick their socks up I can tell you. The big box stores started selling more and better brands than they used to carry, and "new" things like ink sprays and Spectrum Noir pens. Our fellow wowwyer April (no22 this week), works at an Archiver's in Kentucky and is loosing her job at the end of Feb.

    Hi Julia - I just read your post on my site. You asked about a clock or a lazy susan - I think you might have seen my giant roll or double sided foam tape. I use it a great deal so I buy it in bulk. :-)
