What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 235

Whoa!  The first Wednesday of December already!  Well, in true form, I'm not ready in the workdesk section of my life.  Indeed, I have a double offering today.  Mr Dunnit snapped me at work..
Not a desk per se...a door, on a couple trestles.  This is number three of 4.  Priming with a brush.  Because there simply wasnt enough dust free room in the workshop to use the air/spray gun thingy.  Which I'm quite dangerous with.  You know how if a kid has a hose and you call his name, he'll turn the hose on you as he turns around.....yep, that sort of dangerous.
Meanwhile, late on Wednesday night, my lovely home desk looked like this.

Vaguely tidy. but interestingly..productive.  Yes folks, I've started writing the Christmas cards.  The ones that are done are waiting patiently in the basket at the end of the shot..where the dirty stamps usually live.  You can just see the glittery gel pen that I'd been using and of course, my trusty glasses.
Not the most fascinating of desks.  But there's normal service on the horizon...after these cards are done, I get to play with some designer papers as part of my unofficial, self indicated place on the Luscious Life Designs DT!
Share your desk, brag about your Christmas preparedness a little, show and tell, please.
Put WOYWW in your post title and link your blog here.  It's fun.  Jingle Bells.

  4. Love this view of your desk--and seeing the button jar reminds me that I cannot find my blue Ball jar of antique buttons. How do I lose a huge jar of buttons! I'm still looking though. My glasses are on too, I've got a Christmas card production line going! Happy WOYWW Miss Julia! Hugs. Sandy Leigh Maybe no. 3...we'll see when I refresh the page!

I have totally given up on sending cards and just send messages on facebook and email. :^(((( I am sorry about putting my name again. Peggy put the first link and was shouting for me but I was out of our office. We also work together! How grand is that? :^) Best of the week to you! patsy

Hummm? your supposed to write in the Christmas cards and then really mail them to somebody? I thought all I had to do was post them to my blog. What do ya know about that?!! LOL I guess I need to work more on them and quit playing around.

I rather like this view of your desk too.

  25. Finally a few minutes to browse and see what kind of trouble you have been up to Ms Julia...reading your article about your 'Gwammy knee' oh wait that isn't what you wrote, but is what these old eyes read at first...anyway. I have Gwammy knees, and toes, and feet and arms and...' you get the idea. Not quit as gammy as yours. Great desk this week!

  26. You're doing much better than me on the card front. I love this view of your desk, you must have a gazillion stamps on those shelves! Painting doors can be boring, you should do my trick and paint something on them, not just paint them. I get in lots of trouble from my hubby when I start painting things (he he).
Have a great week and keep brushing!

Mmmn, cogs start to whirr in my brain - you wouldn't fancy strolling down my way and helping Kevin with my eternal kitchen doors, would you? Well done for all that progress with cards! I foresee an all-nighter coming up, even if I want to create just a few for special friends! Happy WOYWW! Julie Ann xx

  34. I can just imagine you with the paint spray gun....bet the walls of the workshop look brill. Our eldest, Michelle, turned the hose pipe on her daddy when she was about 18months old dressed in her puddle jumper helping her daddy to wash the car....she wouldn't let him get near her to take it off her and everyone ended up soaked and giggling [I can see why the twins have such a wicked sense of humour :-) ].

Off to the Lake District next week to escape for a while. Woo hop!
