What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 222

Oh, mine is a haven of half light and tranquil nearly finished stuff.  Amazeballs!

Here is the first of many - well, 12 calendar pages for next year.  The reason I'm doing them so soon is that a handful of other crafters want to do a calendar workshop, so while the going is good, I'm making up kits as I make up pages.  No prizes for guessing which month this will be.  Funny..can't work in order with such things.
So now, share with us your work space and what you're currently doing.  You're an inspiration.  Link your WOYWW titled post here and we'll come by.  See ya!

  7. I'm finding more and more that I also can't work in order. I have to work in order in my calendar, but that's because it's a daily thing (grin). Nice to know I'm not the only one who wants to skip around to avoid boredom.

    Happy WOYWW from #2.

  17. Hi
I was thinking of you and Jan today - a half a world away but I'm guessing not so very much in sensibilities and thinking the world was a pretty amazing place. Then I open up to see what week we are one and read your lovely sentence about tranquility and I literally snorted. My desk is anything but tranquil this week. But still, perhaps you catch my drift! Have a great week.

  24. I always want to make a calendar for my desk - but never get round to it... this will be a great workshop. I'll try and imagine what happens... Was awake in the night to link (toilet trip!) but only to find my anti virus programme had found a trojan virus burrowing its way through my computer, lol, so it took an hour to remove it (all, hopefully, though I'm not sure!) Have a good day, lovely Julia! Helen 23

  36. I am impressed, Julia. Such organisation - well done! The only thing I can think of for next year is Dr appointments for hubby - we have already said goodbye to one specialist for 2013!!
I also always store my ink pads upside down - thought it was the right thing to do... seemed sense somehow.
Have a great week of calendars and preparation.

In all honesty it's not hard to have even a so-so project look fab when using G45 papers. I'm currently sporting the Bird Song collection which I absolutely LOVE!!! I'm excited to see how your calendar turns out. I'm not one to work in order either. Keeps things interesting. How's your lower back feeling??? Better I hope. (((HUGS)))

  85. Hi again Julia, Oh I know, I have seen the Unity Stamps over here, well some of them. But Unity keep doing these sales, and offers, right now for example there is 55% to 70% off some stamps and sets, and all the ones I bought were 55% off at least, so I wouldn't get them that cheap (and Unity threw in a couple of free Itty Bittys and some journal card things), I haven't worked out if the tax and fee made them more than here, I doubt it. HMCE seem to have dropped the limit to £15 so they catch more.

  86. Wow you certainly are ahead, what a fab idea doing the kits as you make yours, very organised. I really really love the card/paper on the right hand side which is browns, coppers and golds flourishs, did you make this? If you did do you mind me asking how? And if it was bought can I ask where? I really really want one lol. Happy Woyww :-) Kezzy xxx
