T is for Tuesday....

...and W is for Whyisitgoignsofast?  Honestly, the leisurely life style to which I had adapted so easily once upon a time is but a distant memory.  I love my life and its' erm, style...but it is a juggle right now! Joining Elizabeth this morning, to show that I more often than not, work in the company of a cup.  Well Mug.  And it's rarely T(ea).
Here's proof actually.  6.15am and my first coffee of the day...placed on the only flat uncluttered surface in my workroom that's safe..a rare view of my  'cutting station'.  This of course, means the 10" of worktop space where I keep the guillotine.

I swear, it's not till you photograph something that you see the clutter and mess....
All is not lost, oh no.  I've adopted the 'do a bit each time you get near the desk' method of crafting.  It's not ideal but it puts me closer to a couple of deadlines!
If I were a celebrity crafter, this would be a 'sneak peek' of a card. Instead, it's an arty farty partial shot of a card that I'm STILL fiddling with for a grunge style workshop next week.  Yep...taking it to the wire.
So here I am.  About to top up with another cup of fresh Columbian-Fair-Trade-Organic- but-still-not-good-for-you because-it's-a-stimulant and set out my plans for the day.  Let's hope it does the trick!  Have a great day.

  3. Happy Tuesday, Julia, and agree with the "W", LOL...oh you are brave to even have a coffee mug, so near your work, I would never, ever, trust myself with that, usually on bedside cabinet, then it goes cold, LOL...loving your sneak peak, looking good so far xxx

  6. Stimulant, yes. Drug of choice, yes. Fair trade, yes. Clutter? Not really. All I see is a busy person working on a very pretty grungy card. It makes me smile that you even think to set your mug on your guillotine cutter. Have a second cup and enjoy that caffeine.

    Have a great T today.

  7. Don't I know it about the clutter... or dust you see after you take a photo! It's crazy! Glad I'm not the only one.
Love the grudge look with those colors.
    Happy Tuesday!

  8. Hello and Happy Tuesday! So glad to hear your scrap is a creative mess too, mine never stays neat for long. I've had to squeeze my drink in where I can too.
What a lovely little peek this is, hope we see more of it next time.
Have a good week and thanks for sharing.

  10. Ha ha, I am having a week of starting to do something, then wandering off and forgetting because I got distracted! Nothing is getting finished, house wise or crafting wise.
I have even started on a magazine holder like yours for some dies to stand in, I have some acrylic things that I can stick magnetic sheets to, and stand them and it might be cheaper than filling up the Art Bin I bought to do that, which has just 3 sheets so far! I need more magnetic stuff, and decided I need to decorate the magazine holder which I did buy for decorating but somehow never got round to it!
So right now the magazine holder with one sheet of dies is standing on the end on my desk, waiting... will it still be there for WOYWW? Who knows!

Interesting card, or glimpse of it!

    Happy T day.

  11. I dig the arty farty partial shots of projects. I think I have a couple on my blog today as well, lol. Great minds.
I like your method of crafting as well. That is what I do. If I get near my art table I have to sit for a couple of minutes and splash some paint, doodle a bit or glue something down.. it works out pretty well and is a great stress reliever.
    Happy T to you!

  15. I think your artsy-fartsy is Celebrity Craft!!! And yes every Wednesday when I take a pic of my area I realize how utterly messy it is, but thats the best way to work for me! I LOVE the glimpse of the card and wish I was over there to participate in your Grunge class! I even love the name, sounds so fun and messy! And fun and messy come in 2nd and 3rd under the #1 favorite which is COFFEE!! Big hugs, Rasz

  21. I'm dog sitting, and the internet keeps stopping, not used to that. I think, 'when I'm away, I'll be able to 'catch up' on forgotten things,' but I never do, because I've forgotten them and mainly because of the chairs, people here have funny, hard low chairs, or tall stools.... umm, that sounds wrong, but you know what I mean... have a happy T day
