Things I could do....

I should: recommend Leelou Blogs for her cute Blogger templates.  You like the winter frock?
I could: show you what I did at the Crop on Saturday last.  I can't.
I should: Unpack and put away the huge tote after the Crop on Saturday last.
I could: have a little brag about the Christmas Shopping that me and Mr Dunnit went out to do on Sunday.  Except that we didn't buy anything.  Unless you count a cup of coffee.
I should: really learn to focus..just because a shop is busy doesn't mean I should walk out and leave it for another day.
I could: tell you why I haven't managed to blog or blop for 4 days.  But it's no more interesting than my normal excuses.  Christmas type busy, I like to think.
I should: update lists; I've got two of the SAME presents for one person.
I could: easily admit to being able to feel the teeny seed of panic over the amount I want to do in the time I have allowed myself to do it.
I really should: stop making this list and go finish at least one thing today.

  1. Smart shiny new blog looks very festive Julia, and as for your 'shoulds' I', with you on number 5 - hate busy shops so much I avoid shopping altogether (as much as I can) the week before Christmas.

  2. Lovely card Julia and I really appreciate the sentiments, I should really be 'doing stuff' too, but hey I'm just enjoying 5 minutes peace and thinking what the heck. If it doesnt get done, never mind, aren't I chilled eh!

  3. Julia, I love your blogs winter coat, I wish I knew how to change mine, but I'm better leaving it alone I think. I love your card and the colours. Like you I have loads still do. Hugs Rita xx

  4. I love your new festive look blog, it is fabulous! I thought about changing mine but decided I'd never find the original one again... so put it off. I am good at doing that too. At least you've started your shopping even if you've duplicated gifts... shows the idea was good though if you've bought it twice!

  6. Your card is lovely. I like the colors you chose, too.

Gosh, where does the time go? I can feel that panic in your writing. That's sort of how I feel when I can't link to WOYWW, only mine is not as time driven as yours.

I'm sure you'll get those coulds and shoulds all finished. If not, there's always another month, another year, another story to tell. And that my dear, is what makes you so special!

Once again, I won't be joining you tonight. But believe me when I say it's only because of this nasty Blogger problem I'm having.

Having lists only works if they are not too long...and not buried under a lot of craft stash!!

  19. Beautiful card! I waffle between feeling seasonal and absolutely scroogish lol. When you learn how to focus, please post lessons :D. And if you've purchased the same gift twice, I think you bought the right thing lol.
