What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 170

Well, heaps and not as much as last week...there has been some card making...

So you can see the makings of a card that will include some liberal application of H20 paints; and some fab, almost neon coloured Stickles...really looking forward to breaking them loose.
See, this is the thing - I've spent loads of time working on cards for the Christmas Card Marathon and then woop! about turn and start on a 'Citrus' themed workshop - to encourage and celebrate the Indian Summer we deserve.  Hmmm. So that's pretty much what you see - the pile of clear stamps in the real foreground at the top is indeed the 'clean me' basket of stamps; but I'm on a roll and I don't care.  Even less than usual that is!

Strut your stuff for our viewing pleasure won't you?  Share your working space and what you're working on, it's a matter of great fascination.  If you can, turn off word verification - you'll get more comments, for sure.  If you can, keep the post brief- ish, and please put WOYWW in the post title..if you don't, other WOYWWers will assume you've linked a post that isn't relevant and click away....there is ALWAYS another desk to go look at!

  1. I do like those flower stamps. Thanks for last week, knew the minute I pressed enter the link was wrong but internet connection was really bad and couldn't get back on till nearly midnight to link again and gave up by then!

  2. Well, it looks a bit busier than the last of last week, but you are on a roll, and that is all that counts. So glad to be back among the group. I missed playing along, but was too busy to spend the time. I have NO idea how you manage.

I guess those clear stamps are all the rage. I just have NO luck with them at all. Greetings from (I don't believe it) number 1 this week.

  11. Clear stamps are brilliant! Definitely helps me stamp straighter and more even so that people do not wonder if I was drunk when I was stamping--speaking of--your desk was simply drunk with whimsy and busyness last week...but very neat this week. I worship anyone who has their Christmas cards done!! Crafty hugs! ;) Sandy Leigh

  18. Hi Julia! Oh I love the lighting in your photos. Makes me feel happy. Right now we are in the gray funky weather with major rain on the way tomorrow. Yuck. So I am soaking up your sunshine virtually. Love the card on the ipad stand. The colors make me think of my favorite season (fall) when all our leaves change pretty colors. Like the stamping you are doing too. The flowers and the vine like one is pretty. But you know what really caught my eye? That cute little bicycle. So cute. I have a bicycle die somewhere (my luck the same one) and I must find it because that is so darn cute.

When you are free come play on my desk.

  24. Loving that bird card on your busy desk. I am getting old...cuz I thought it said Good Bird...but then I squinted and now i think it says Good Day! teehee

Those stickles are beautiful...you are going to have fun with those. Will you use them on those pretty flowers...maybe, I think.

No need to leave me a comment...I didn't post this week...cleaning and reorganizing my scrapbook room and just need to buckle down and get it finished...it would make a great picture cuz you have to pull everything out to reorganize but no time to visit in return...so...next week it will be.

  25. Oh so glad to be back...I love Indian Summer!! Fall colors and the crisp air are so much more fun than the cold uncertain conditions that can happen. and such bright colors here I haven't seen them yet. But no time to shop either. Thanks Julia for the fun.

  29. Looks like lovely, crafty goodness to me!

Please tell me I'm not the only one who posts a blog post, and then reads it and finds something to change (despite having proofread it moments ago), changes that, reads again, finds something else to change. I think I just did that three or four times! Tell me I'm not crazy! I kind of feel bad for the person who viewed in between editing sessions, since they couldn't read it in all its awesomeness :-)

  30. I like the look of those flowers...but not the open scissors on the desk- soooo dangerous, lol!

  35. I love those flowers and the bright bits. I was in a shop with some crafty things the other day and I saw the clear block and some clear stamps sold separately. Do you buy one block and put the plastic ones on, then peel it off and put on another? I would love to buy some but not sure how they work. They are really expensive here, so I might end up trying online. Your desk inspired me to show my mess this week and what a mess it is :) So glad yours is still covered.
Have a great warm weather week.

Fab desk as always, love those flowers stamps, and your 'clean me' basket, that made me giggle, I couldn't do it you see, put them in there, I'd have to clean them before I did which then gets rid of the whole idea of a 'clean me' basket! I'm hoping to pop round more desks this week, slowly getting better and find the concentration and working fingers to leave some comments, not easy I can telly you at times. But hey ho the sun is shining! Take care Zo xx 98

  124. Ooh, I love citrus so hope we get a taste of what you have been making. I already love the card you have top left with the circles on.

Wonder if I have those two Stickles? Must go and investigate.

  126. OK, I gotta see what you do with the stickles...I can't say I'd be brave enough for those colors! LOL!

  127. Yet another week for me when I didn't get to link up (we have been away with the caravan looking for a farm to buy) and really missing everyone, so sneeked in to have a tour around. Dental surgery on Monday - and steadily getting more terrified! Loving the bright colours. Ali x
