What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 113

Bad light for this one, but taken at the hour it was, no surprise really!  There is actually evidence that between blog posts, I sometimes do what I say I'm going to!  Signs of a Christmas card on my desk. It's hard..by mid afternoon my desk will be covered in gorgeous sunshine, so I'm going to try to work hard and fast in the shade of the morning.  Ha!
Surrounded as usual by detritus of other stuff, finished or in consideration...you can't tell and I can't remember!

Do share then - upload a pic onto your blog of whatever you're working on, wherever you're working ; we want to see what you've got and what you're doing - altogether to interesting to deny us!  Link your blog here  with Mr Linky and we'll trot round and have a looksee.   Forgive my absence last week, I have a shoulder thing and was unable to wield so much as a mouse for while there.

  2. I was snapping pics at midnight and doing a Festive tag this week. Golly I even let my mind wander to a few shops and buy a few early pressies. Have reprimanded myself and am back in summerish mode. Hope the shoulder is soon back on duty. Authentic desk and spread of craftiness!

  6. Looks like that same clock face stamp is there from last week. But it's good to see you have started on Christmas. I fear it's too hot for that at my place. Hope you are on the mend, too.

  7. You should be picking daisies instead of coloring trees. Good luck with the shoulder, and your mind set to summer. Happy WOYWW

  8. Normally I would cry at hearing the C word in August, but as you well know that would be massively hypocritical. :)

Hope the shoulder is better. Me? I've done something painful to my ankle. Ouch. This getting old is for the birds.

    Have a good one.

  42. ouch - hope the shoulder improves soon - pain is so debilitating and makes one quite miserable... but love how you are soldiering on - :O)

Sorry not been around to join in for a while - its easy for me to get overwhelmed by the numbers you now attract these days - but most of all, I've not been too brill at blogging/hopping per se. Although I do often think of you and the friends I have made here...

I'll do my best to hop around this week - so long as the battery holds up, as I'm sat on the patio in the sunshine on the laptop at the moment - good times eh?

All my love and hugs - hope you are feeling some improvement soon in your shoulder.

  44. Sorry to hear your shoulder is giving you gip Julia, and can sympathise with you because I know the pain I was in after falling over while on holiday at the start of the year. Hope you’re on the mend soon.

Now, as for mentioning the C word in front of me, please done, I’m afraid I’m one of those who can’t think about that until at least the end of September.

    Happy Crafting!

  47. Lovely Christmas tree stamp....still can't get over doing Christmas at this time of year but then I'm always the first to say, "I knew it was coming why didn't I start earlier!"

    ReplyDelete
  48. Firstly, I hope the shoulder is improving Julia. We don't realise how much we use the flipping things until there's a problem, and it's also such a miserable pain.

Love that Christmas tree stamp - I fell foul of the new LOTV Christmas stamps last week, oh dear :( They're here on my craft desk looking accusingly at me - I hid the invoice though!! Di xx

  49. Hope your shoulder is better, I've been nursing a bad hip! Getting old is not for sissy's! Love your workspace this morning! Looks like Christmas is coming like it or not!

  54. My first ever WOYWW so be gentle on me! I don't have a workdesk as such, just a bed and a tray for stamping and CB'ing on. If this isn't OK, just let me know. I thought I'd give it a try and see what happens.

  55. Hi there. Nice to see your shoulder is a little better for you this week. It is amazing how were are affected by a shoulder pain!
Lovely Christmas stamp on your desk. It is nice to see someone else has started on the Christmas stuff too!!
My friend and I had a whole day of it on Sunday including music!! LOL!! "Frosty the Snowman" with the air con going on is quite something to behold!

  56. Hi Julia,
Glad to hear you are recovering - you are a bit scary though - Christmas Cards in July! :-)

  57. Hi Julia, hope your shoulder pain is easing - so frustrating when you can't get to the computer. Love that Christmas tree your working on and, as usual, your desk is worth a peek around - some nice bits and pieces to peer/nosey at :) Elizabeth x #73

  59. I agree with the principle of shady crafting; I tend to dodge the sun in different parts of the house. The outside crafting desk looks pretty tempting, but I bet I'll get everything outside, and the clouds will thumb their noses at me before starting to rain... Anyway, sorry for the protracted absence, and it's nice to be back.

  72. Hi like the look of the Christmas tree card. I should have made a start but so much else to do as well. I missed the cardmaking workshop that was 'Christmas in July' could have done with some fresh ideas. Not been on the last couple of weeks as was away the first week and although I did take a pic last week I was just too tired at the end of the day to post. Am trying gradually to come and visit you all. Anne x

  77. Your table looks nice and productive this week! Sorry to hear about your shoulder and hope it gets better soon. I had awful problems with mine a few years ago and switched to a trackball instead of a regular mouse and it was brilliant.

I'm afraid I linked to the wrong WOYWW page (111) by mistake so I'm on there twice! Duh... Put it down to the old brainfog. I've now linked to today's one so hope people won't be too confused!
