Hello June. Please - be flaming. I've got lights on and was forced to do some ironing earlier, so cold were my hands. The quick run from car to supermarket to car to Mr Dunnit's factory to supply milk for the tea break and the dash from car to Dentist has satisfied my need for summer rain, thanks.
Great framed art! Can you believe it's June already??
ReplyDeleteAh June must remember to pay my credit card.Julia-thanks for the publicity. I'm going to have a go at the award but you may have guessed I'm technically challenged blogwise. Some of the peeps I might give it to have already got it ! Funnily enough I have read Mountainear myself but have no idea how I got to it. DH is an honorary member of Bury Mountaineering Club so could be via their website. Hugs BettyXXX
ReplyDeleteMmm, need June to be hot hot hot...gotta get used to being 40 soon ROFL Love your calendar, tis really summery looking.. unlike the view from the window here.. grey, raining and chuffing freeeezing out there!! x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous calendar page Julia :)
ReplyDeleteWoohoo for tomorrow, are we having cream cakes and tea?
Anne xx
The garden said yes but Annie said no. Rain rain rain. Enough is enough I say. I wouldn't have minded if it had kepy my customers from my door but no! They have come in their droves today in between the 11 phone calls I had! and it was fun day Tuesday because of Bank holiday Monday. So trust me when I say it is lovely to be able to sew again but tomorrow will be a busy one for me to catch up.

Lovely artwork for June, Julia. Do you realise that the longest day is only three weeks away and the days start getting shorter again after that? Summer had better come quick! And WOYWW anniversary!

ReplyDeletelets hope it's a great month for all of us! You may have some of the heat from Maryland. It's hot and humid here yet again. The temp doesn't get much above 100F (38c) but boy does it stay humid! Must say, this has to be your shortest post ever!

Thank you very much ... either way ... I am not one to assume :0)
Did I just wipe out my comment? Do I need to start over? OK, here goes. Well, sort of, since I never remember exactly what I said when that happens.
ReplyDeleteThe rain is never cold in Kansas, since it's usually accompanied by tornadoes and hail (which is cold). I'm sorry you had to iron to keep warm. I would have gladly traded with you. It was near 100 degrees F today, and I hate the heat. Give me the shivery cold any day.
I went to Linda's blog and left a message. At least I'll have ONE blog that I've visited today. I sure hope you post the linky early, so I can get to bed at a decent hour, preferably sometime before the sun comes up. Besides, I know there are lots of us chomping at the bit to show how much we care for you by making an anniversary WOYWW.
Since it's already Wednesday in your part of the world, happy WOYWW to you, dear friend and great hostess.
Julia Wake up we are all chomping at the bit and desperate to get our contributions up. Off to make DH his morning cuppa and then the delights of Morrison's-that's our local supermarket. Hugs BettyXXXX
