Wearing a red carnation..

Another cutie from the Crafthouse Press die cut range - the gingham paper is part of the kit and the white spots on the card backing were my idea. Hmmm. Hats off to the gingham then!
Actually this card is all about clues to my day out today. The cuppa of course, is a dietary obligation for a day out with a friend. The Ladybird - is who I'm going to meet! Yep, Paige is setting sail from the Isle of Wight and we're going to have time out in Southampton today. Hobbycraft and Paperchase form part of the agenda. Naturally. So forgive me, I'm off to make a poor man's version of the red carnation - otherwise, unless she hears someone whingeing about waiting for ferries, driving in the city, parking, blah blah, how on earth will she know me!

  13. I thought you had to carry a rolled up copy of the Times so that you would be recognised... but I guess a carnation will do!
Hope you had a fab day with Paige!

  18. Hi there hope you had a lovely day out. Don't forget to visit my blog today and see the card I told you about. Not a very good week here as I was one of 4 people loosing my job Monday. My company ran into finansial trouble and needed to make a cost cut and neither my many years with the company nor my winning personality or many talents seemed to be able to save me. BUGGER as Hugh Grant would say!! So expect longer comments in the future now time is NOT an option. =0)

  19. I have linked you up proply from my blog now he he To first answer your question all the ATC and altered stuff is a pretty new thing to my blog (although I have always loved altering (never thought of it as crafty you should see one of my very first posts I altered my whole bed room, my biggest project I did wardrobes draws lights as well as decorating too.

To get back to your question I do lots of scrapping and card making too. But I know lots of scrappers out there that are far better than me. I can make a decent card though and love my new friends Altered art, post cards, inchies ATCs and anything else lol. But if you want to see my scrapping just look them up in the search on the left hand side 12x12 should find them all.

Now to get back to your super projects. Lovely & sweet do stop by again your always welcome

    Love Dawn xx
