I painted a huge mural of sunflowers on the sloping ceiling, with an orange setting sun behind them. I've still got the big orange mixing bowl that I bought at the time! I happen to love the early TH browns. Thank you for visiting - yes, lots of stitching to do with the squares, but it's all enjoyable and worth doing for the final result! I just hope I don't end up giving it to him for Christmas this year! Regarding seeing the GP, that's a bit of a problem too - impossible to get through and it's all too wearisome for words. If things get any worse I may have a go but I'm coping OK at the moment. I think a better approach might be my hubby's suggestion to get in touch with the relevant surgeon direct and give him an update and he might be able to bump me up his list a bit.

Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #23Shoshihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00028185699225457125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-218645565952627143.post-51637400409075642162021-01-21T17:07:43.918+00:002021-01-21T17:07:43.918+00:00Love the idea of the 70s layout and had to laugh a...Love the idea of the 70s layout and had to laugh at your description of Tim Holtz early colours. We have two 'disguised' toy boxes in our lounge, and the little monkeys also fill up some of the space in my craft room. I love the posh bird card ... that will look nice in my journal, but I may just draw something similar (who am I kidding, I may just buy something similar lol). I'm looking forward to seeing the 70s layout. Sadly I have no idea what happened to the photo albums my mother kept, of when we were growing up. I have a handful of photos. None of my siblings know where they went either! There are different types that do need complicated measuring but this type I've used is just 1.1 so not difficult but I've read so many things about people having problems with the mixing but I did it slowly and the bubbles were small which I then dispersed with a heat gun and it worked. Pleased you like the dragon just need to decide what to do with him next though I have a friend who loves dragons and she has a birthday soon so we'll see. Pleased you like the canvas too it'a project from Creative Craft Academy though I have altered it a bit from the sample. I definitely couldn't cope with hubby being close by whilst I am crafting. I do my diamond painting in the evening in the living room sometimes (although only when I can just listen to the tv), but definitely prefer the peace and quiet of my craft room or the dining room (especially when the fire is lit). Even the guinea pigs are asleep until around 2 pm, so the only sound is my typing and the tumble dryer a few rooms away.
