What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 891

I put my head down and got my LLJ on last week. Hiding from the hot sun, I made a bag to tote around the projector screen for our WI branch. At the time of purchasing it was me that researched and found it, so it seems that it’s me that gets to store it and then remember it when needed. It needed a bag to make it easy to carry - I usually walk to the WI venue but when needed, wrangling the silly shaped box was getting ridiculous. Handles were required!

And yesterday, despite not tidying up, I did some desk work, first for ages! The ATC isn’t traditional shape, but is the right size, thought it would make a change, for our ‘fruit’ theme. The stack of felt squares that looked like a box has been removed for cutting into shapes, but otherwise there’s still a teetering pile and I’m managing to ignore it!

I’ve finished another string of felt gin bottle bunting, and am working on birds and clouds now. These light evenings are great for slow hand stitching projects!
So at last, that’s something to show, however badly photographed! Show and tell what your Wednesday work surface looks like, see loads of others that link over at Sarah’s.

  1. Yay, nice to see your machine out again! Great idea for the carry bag, so much easier than long cardboard boxes. I like your gin bunting too, fun and fresh, I bet you enjoyed making that! Hopefully you had to do lots of gin based research beforehand to help you find the right vibe…..
    Hugs LLJ 3 xx
