WOYWW Crop 2018

Crop day is Saturday 8th September 2018, 10am to 4pm.
All the usual lack of rules apply - bring what you're working on/something to work on and prepare to do less than a day's work on it because lunch and chatting will prevent over work. I guarantee it.

Margaret has organised the use of the same hall as last year:
Emmanuel Christian Centre
Lloyd Street
LL30 3YA
There is a little parking at the hall - please park as economically as possible. If the car park fills, there's pay and display parking on the Promenade, but unload at the hall first if you've got a load of stuff. Any number of us will be waiting in the hall to help out!

There will be other details but for now, Save The Date. consider your attendance and let me know as soon as you can. A comment on this post will be fine. As usual, it's merely an indication of your intent, we aren't asking for a deposit or anything that utterly commits you. There will be a charge on the day to cover lunch costs, hall hire, and a raffle, proceeds from which are donated to charity.
If you've been to a WOYWW Crop, you'll be familiar and it would be lovely if you'd leave an encouraging comment for those that are near enough to Llandudno to consider coming but may be a bit shy, and if you came to Llandudno last year, leave an encouraging comment about it being worth the trip!

Awesome. Two from here a definite. I will do my best not to get ill this year! For anyone who's not been to a crop, and is thinking about it- stop thinking and come along. Honestly, everyone is as lovely & friendly as they appear on the WOYWW posts, and if you are really lucky, you may get an hour or so's crafting done, probably in 10 minute bursts! There will be much chatting and eating of cake done, and enough tea & coffee as you can manage. Hugs, Shaz XxX

Yes folks. Do come if you can - it's so worth the effort. I went first in 2016 less than two months after John died. Drove to Wiltshire all by myself, expected to go in all by myself - no way!!! I was greeted on the Friday by Julia and Jan, met at the door by everyone, and swooped up into the happy band of crafting pilgrims - not that I did much crafting.... more cake eating, talking, meeting folks...
Hope we see you here in Llandudno in September.

Thought i had posted - Whoo Hoo - cannot wait. Accommodation booked and raring to go (come). Lovely to meet up with fellow crafters, and have a good old chin wag. I keep mentioning it on my blog posts so do hope we get lots of friends coming.

FYI Llandudno has plenty of bed and breakfast places, has two Premier Inns, a Travel Lodge, loads of hotels, lots of places to eat and a lovely big long Promenade. It is quite flat (apart from the Orme of course) so is ideal if you have difficulty walking but if the other half wants to get out and about they can always go up the Orme on the cable car or by foot. A couple of cheap craft shops too. Plenty to do so why not make it a mini break.

Hugs, Neet xx
