What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 316

Hurrah, it's a holiday desk! I'm doing some work, just nothing very crafty....These are the glass light shades off the bedroom ceiling fans. I washed 'em. These and the fan blades are real dust magnets, so when we get here, we try to do the sort of deep cleany bits and maintenance bits that need doing. It gives us a reason to get up. And you need that on the first day of a holiday don't you! All is drying fast...our second drink of the day is not cooling much in the direct sun and Mr Dunnit is talking about beaches and cool winds. I'm guessing that we've done today's chores!
Now don't be jealous; instead, show us all what you're doing whilst I'm not even making excuses for idleness.
Put WOYWW in your post title, link here and visit each other. It's nice. I promise you won't need sunglasses to protect your eyes from dazzling whites in the sun next week!

So the chores are out of the way - enjoy your hols. I'm looking at that lovely sunshine in your photo. Seems as if the weather has done an about turn here since the lonest day on Saturday - far too much cloud and drizzle for my liking.

Sounds blissful. I think I could cope with a bit of housework if there was the bonus of beaches and cool sea breezes afterwards. Have a wonderful holiday.

Hi Julia, I guess whilst doing the house chores you have time to think about where to go during your holiday as I am sure you wont spend it all doing the housework. Have a good rest and please take pics. We are off to the Lincolnshire show today so no crafting till later. Happy woyww, Angela x 30

I am not jealous at all. I would far rather shampoo the hall carpet. I tell fibs too. anyone fancy taking that job over for me. I always have to get the instruction book out to remind myself which part of which tank to put the solutions and the water. Have a wonderful holiday and make sure there are no nasty hospital trips this time. Looking forward to the Crop in October. Just need to book my B&B (must ask for a mini breakfast otherwise I will not be able to eat Jan's lovely food) and book the dogs into kennels. xxx Maggie #8

Cleaning on your holiday? Surely that's not what holidays are about. Your husband is right whispering the right words in your ear...

I like how Mr. Dunnit thinks! I'm like you though--I feel like I can get on with my day when that stuff is done. And this is reminding me to clean my bedroom ceiling fan! I am much more creative in a clean house. Hugs! Sandy Leigh

Is that a glass fan blade at the bottom? Don't you love it when all the days to-do can be done by the second cuppa? : D. Looks like you are having a splendid vacation (knock wood)! And ditto on what Christine said (plus I don't need to put them in a scrapbook lol) #47

Awww... from those shadows and the strong light, I'm guessing you are definitely not in UK! My guess is Spain... Or Majorca! I hope you have a lovely holiday.
My desk is just messy this week, though there are some progress shots of last time's leather book covers.

Doing chores while on holiday doesn't sound like much of a holiday. But since I'm a neat freak, I applaud you for taking care of those dust magnets. They really ARE, aren't they? Hope you're enjoying the rest of your holiday. Looking for photos, of course.
