What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 264

Well, in truth it's not my desk.  Its the table-cum-storage box next to my armchair in the Lounge room.
It's seen a lot more action than my work desk this week, for sure! I am still in that phase of thinking about doing stuff, and then not having the energy to actually do it.  It's an incredible waste of time, but what can ya do?!
So there's the notepad from real work with the 'to do' list on it.  There are 25 entries and 4 ticks, so all is not quite lost!  There's the home-made crochet hook roll and inevitably, some cheerful crochet work.  Fab yarn for a simple project, very cheering.  You can just see, bottom right, where I store my scrapbooks under the wooden unit.  The barely visible white envelope is a gathering of really old photos that I go through now and then. I'm definitely in the 'scrapbooking the now' club!
Inspire, inform and fill me with beans please - show your desk, or wherever it is that you're crafting this week. It will be so nice to be at your place instead of mine!

Grrr. iPad not cooperating so I had to come to my desktop. Nice, tho', cause I got to see the lovely colourful crochet a bit bigger :) LOVE it, so pretty and summery. A list of 20 with 4 ticked off? Not too bad, given how you've been feeling lately. Pat yourself on the back, lady, and keep plugging away. You'll soon have them all ticked off...even as you add more to the bottom of the list LOL! I have quite a long one myself....see you Saturday!

Morning, Julia - I hope your hooky and visiting all the desks takes away some of the frustration. You'll soon be back in the saddle, wishing for that extra hour/day so try to enjoy the forced leisure time - at least the sun is shining now, so you can relax in the garden. Take care xx

A desk is what you make it, mine is often the lawn outside so a sofa is a great desk. I am so in love the the colours of that wool. Whatever you're making will be spectacular. Hope you're feeling okay now.

Poor Julia , still not bouncing like Tigger! Don't push yourself too hard, let your body get the rest it needs.
Just remember that hosting this party for up to 100 crafters earns you a massive tick, there can't be anything else on your list that gives so many people so much pleasure.
Relax and Bless you

To do lists or even try to do lists are all well and good but if you don't or can't get through them it can just make you more miserable. Put it away and let your body tell you when it's ready. Love your colourful crochet. Do hope you feel well again soon Julia, take care.

Thank you for your visit and I am glad to see you are safely back home and taking things easily. I have every faith that Doug will be able to sort my computer for me, but he is taking it home so that he can do it as and when he has time and where he has everything he needs to hand. I have one more workshop, with Maria Simms, before I head down to Sussex to Barbara's Gray's two day crafting retreat. Two whole days of bliss (apart from the M25). My garden furniture has arrived and my lovely gardener has put it together for me, in addition to all the other things he has already done today. Have a good restful week. xx Maggie #60

I;ve been in that state for years! 4 ticks are a definite plus. Im loving the colors of that yarn...fell better soon.

I read your long list of "to dos" from last Friday. They quite resemble the list I have going, but I have NO excuse, except to get out of town and the heat.

Recuperating can be SO BORING, but hang in there GF It will all still be there (and probably more) when your back on your feet, at least you like to knit, and you CAN do some journaling whilst sitting in your lounger, and who needs clean windows to look out of???? LOL

Get well kid-O, but don't rush it!
