Did I mention there was a WOYWW Crop?

It's been and gone.  A lot of people made huge efforts to get to it.  I didn't.  A lot of people brought loads of stuff to show and tell and share.  I didn't.  Jan made a marvellous lunch and worked very hard.  Yep, you guessed...I 'helped'.  A lot - A LOT of people took A LOT of photos.  I didn't.

I stood on a chair so that I could enjoy an audience...the barrage of cameras turned me into a diva!

'Twas at the beginning...tidy tables!  L-R Ali, Debbie, Chris, Morti, Shaz, Jan,Kyla,Lynda,Nicky,Mary Anne,Christine, Lisa-Jane,Helen, me, Fiona, Di,Livvy, Sam
and seated...Zoe, Lisa, Cindy and Maggie
And this sums up the day....here's Jan, laughing.  There was a lot of that.

I lifted these photos in an outrageous steal from Helen's blog....she takes a good 'un!
If you came to the Crop - thank you, it was lovely to see you and despite not having enough time, I think we at least had a 'hello' and a decent 'goodbye' chat? If you are a Desker and didn't manage to come, you were with us, we all talked about each other and the friends we've made.  There will be greater photos and in depth analysis on other's blogs, and I hope you'll get the vibe that I did.  Warm. Friendly.  Utterly WOYWW-y.

'Twas a great day. Over all too quickly. The only part of it that went slowly was the looooong drive home!

Great day. Great Food, great chat, just great to see everyone. And I even got some crafting done! Well done to you and Jan for organising it all. Cindy x

I agree with all of the above (and you are more than welcome to lift photos!). It takes you weeks of planning (whatever you say otherwise) and it's over in the blink of an eye.. perhaps we should try for a whole weekend... or am I pushing my luck now?! I got crafting done too (and more since I got home!)
Can't wait for next year!! xx

Fabulous day, fastest 7 hours of my life. Where did it go? As for tidy tables, that's 'cos you didn't get Kyla's and mine in the shot, rofl.

I read LLJ's account of the day and it looks like it truly was a grand day out : D. Plus I was impressed you can stand on a chair, something I can only do if the chair has a very high back lol.

Lol, that first pic of you is funny! It's like you're saying 'Oh no, not the Paparazzi again.......' :-)
I should have snapped you with the Marigolds on to show folk that you did work hard!!

It looks like you all had a fabulous time, wish I could play too but it's more than a cut lunch to get there. I'm still busy trying to get paintings ready for a show and the shop so won't be playing for another week yet, miss all you guys when I can't play. I'm off to Helen's blog to see more pics.

Shaz, I don't believe it was seven hours. It felt more like seven minutes. It flew past as time always does when you are having fun, and didn't we have fun? It was my first time, but it will not be the last. I will be there for as long as Julia and Jan take on the organization of a fabulous day, fabulous food and fabulous company. Thank you both so much for all you did and can't wait for next year. xx

Oh Julia

I so missed out. I'd told Darren I wanted to go and said despite me feeling so up for it - I didn't want to drive for 3 hours on my own - I thought he could at least be my shotgun rider and then we could spend the night down there then go and maybe do something the following day. Then he moaned about what could he do while I was crafting. I told him surely there were other hubby's and partners in the same boat so there must be a pub or somwhere to go... so he went to work in the morning when I told him to forget it this time as I'd not really confirmed it with you or anything. Anyway, I said that if you had a gathering later in the summer or sometime again this year, I was definitely going and that he'd got to promise to take me - which he actually did!!!

So happy that you had a good time and crafty chatty time togther.

Hugs

Fun! Fun! Fun! Thank you for sharing, Julia! Where do I go to read the transcript of what people said about me? Ha, wouldn't that be a riot of a read if there were such a thing?! It's so lovely to put faces with names. I'm sure everyone there is already looking forward to the next time! Hugs, Darnell
