What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 193

My desk is going to blush soon - I keep revealing woodwork - call it the white space of desk-ness.  or something.  It's because I'm trying to work on different stuff each time I get desk time which means clearing up.  Interestingly, please note that I usually clear up the last  stuff before starting the new stuff.  Which doesn't mean I clear up at the end, rather at the beginning.  Making sense?  Hmmm.  So I took this photo at about 10pm Tuesday night.
See the punches?  I didn't use those for the circles, I don't I decided, have the right sizes and so used a nestabilities set.  You probably want to know 'the right sizes for what, missus?'.  I'm not really sure yet.  It's an idea sparked by a card that Sarah sent to me months and months ago..of course I don't know where it is now I need it, but hmm, something will occur.  But not today.  I'm out and about again, so please be kind when I'm late to visit.  Oh and that little card on the deckchair you keep seeing, and some ask about is this, for a 'Men's' workshop at some stage in the next couple months.

So that's my less than short work desk explanation.  Let's see and read yours too please.  Do a blog post entitled WOYWW that shows your work desk and what you're working on and we'll run around to see as soon as we can. If you need more info, have a look at the page that explains better - accessible through the link at left top of the page.
And last thing - if you fancy a day at a craft show, please have a look at  THIS post for a chance to win tickets.  And note that I lied.  Me and that LLJ will be going to Birmingham on the Friday, not as previously stated.  I can't get the hang of actual dates and days!

My WOYWW isn't so much my craft station still, rather the room itself. Take care, all, and have a great week. Chris x

  73. Julia,

It is always puts a little fun in my day to when I read your posts.
I can relate to your clean up when starting new project rather than after I finish one. Probably because I don't always finish one so stuff just hangs around. So your desk is good company here!

I love the masculine card. I need inspiration in that part. Speaking of inspiration, I bought some punches which arrived today because I saw a card that used them so in such a cute way. Well now I don't know where I saw it so I too can relate again. Perhaps we are twins!

So my patience grows! :) But seriously, thank you so much for hostessing us every week. I hope its not a huge amount of work for you to get it all set up and everything...its probably pretty routine by now, huh? Unless blogger throws you for a loop, of course! 119. I love your tux card!!! What a great idea. And yeah, circles and ovals; I never have the right sizes either...

  120. Just love that card, simple, yet very striking.
I think punches are great for quickness, just and go but I always find the sizes a bit hit and miss when I’m using them and usually end up resorting to my nesties too.

    Happy Crafting!

  121. I couldn't leave a comment the other day so popping back to say how lovely to see a clear space. I find that therapeutic and like to start off that way but give me 5 minutes and you would never have thought it! Guessing you are the same!

  122. Hi

Thanks for popping by my blog, I see you are in Wiltshire, I know it's a bit county but I live in the same one LOL,

I can't seem to relax enough to have a mess which is a bit sad, I have loved seeing everyone's desks and realise that people are having a lot of fun working in a mess....I may have to take a deep breath and give it a go.
