Intent

Of course, this cannot be a wordless post. But I'll keep it brief-ish, by illustrating some of my intentions for the next few days.  (Note how I'm not committing to a specific period of time...)  These are not in any order of priority, you may wish to advise me...
Get a grip, step outside my comfort zone and start working on ideas for a workshop with a 'Cute' theme.  Procrastination will not help at all in this case. It will take time and gnashing of teeth.  No doubt.

For the sake of my mental stability, I need to finish this long scarf for Miss Dunnit.  The colours are something to do with a new costume and the stripes are 'doing my head in'.  Technical term.

For the last time, sort out the fiasco of the ribbon jar.  The nice ebay people sent the pegs so promptly I've been caught out - I thought this would end up on next week's agenda!

Finish this.  Leaving the board up and in my way doesn't annoy me enough these days, so best to just get it over with.  And don't advise me not to bother, I am genetically wired this way..some things just have to be ironed.

Oh look, there's some business paperwork building up already...and it's not on top of the fridge.  When I asked Mr Dunnit to stick the Merlin delivery notes in the box (in the kitchen - that I put on the wall on Saturday morning), he asked 'what box?'

A short (I think) sewing job, the design of which is largely in my head...fat quarter, some fleece and somewhere a picture frame...another Pinterest idea that I THINK I can copy.... And a birthday present for tomorow.  Oops!
And for now, because my life is glamorous and filled with creativity and fun, I'm off to wash the kitchen floor before going to the supermarket.

  1. Good luck with getting your 'cute' head on, don't think I could do that easily. Dont think I have a 'cute' bone in my body. much more of a brights than a pastels and grunge rather than cute. Still I do like to see what others can do. Love the pegs - I think dollies when I see them.

  2. Morning Julia, that is an interesting list, I have done my daily ironing- it is the first thing I do each day, so it is out of the way, I plug in before I switch the kettle on! The kitchen floor is my gran-daughter's job, which she will do when she comes back from the supermarket! I have cracked it today!

You have a pretty good list going on, but I do think I have a few more items tham you, and here I sit flappin away. Guess I'll get to at least one item, before lunch.
    Happy Fat Tuesday

  16. Procrastination...now that's my middle name. I'm doing this now as I am trying to come up with a sketch for male birthday cards. Mental Stability....hmmm do you mean if you finish a project it helps. I think I may have to give that a try. LOL! I had to laugh at your ribbon jar fiasco. I've been organizing my ribbons also. Must be a winter project! Iron? I'm ironing napkins for cards...does that count? I balanced check books this week. Let me tell you, someone in my household of 2 needs to let me know what's going on in his account. Geez...spent Sunday doing that! I'm so happy to know that your life is as glamorous as mine...At least this Cinderella has a steam mop, which makes scrubbing easier....My chariot awaits and the supermarket is next on my list. I need to pick up a chuck roast for tomorrow's dinner...and this pampered ole gal needs a nap!

  19. You're going to get all that done in the next few days?! WoW! Those stamps are adorable but, if cute is outside your comfort zone, procrastination may help...letting the ideas kind of marinate in your mind before you give 'er a go, know what I mean? I bet you turn out something amazingly adorable. :)
I can't imagine what you're going to do with that jar of ribbon...why not call it "art" and leave it like it is? lol :)
Can't wait to see what happens with the pegs, and your pinterest idea...plus I meant to comment on the other project...I think your indoor post box is really fab and I've been looking around trying to figure out where I could put such a thing, I want one, or two! :) Thanks for sharing and I hope you get all your projects tackled this week. :) Deeyll

  20. I know if I leave my ironing board up too long I'll start to craft on it...

  21. Ironing. I even bought myself a fancy steam generating ironing-thingy to make the job easier, which it does, but the ironing basket is still always full. I can only iron in front of the tv, and hubby doesn't like being in the room at the same time, so that limits when I can actually get on with it. Oh well, I keep telling myself that it is not a problem! Ribbons on pegs. That reminds me that I didn't finish sorting my ribbon box out. Ran out of pegs and haven't got back to the shop to get more. Cute - I embrace all styles of crafting and love those stamps. Business paperwork - I bought myself a couple of desk trays, so now I don't have to pile up my filing on the floor!! Ali x
