Exciting times

So the Shopkeepr Gal and Mrs Perfection have laboured long and hard this week.  Closed the store last Friday and will re-open in the new premises on Saturday.  Apart from co-ordinating the installation of new table legs, I've been no help at all.  In fact, whilst I was there being the supervisor, I took this picture...sneakily...
Don't say I shouldn't have been facing the window and door because of the light.  I had my back to a window and door too...it's a push-me-pull-you shop with two entrances which will be especially useful in cases of rain and evening workshops...car park proximity is great, and that's if you can't park in the street outside the shop.  And of course, the light is lovely. I must say it looks fab.  And made me want to shop.  I couldn't.  The girls were busy unpacking and besides, Mr Dunnit was there 'doing' the table legs.
So if you're in Amesbury or fancy a wee trip tomorrow, the Kraft Crazy opens in new premises at 9am and there may very well be someone you know pretending to do a demonstration.  Good luck Tracey, Shopkeeper Gal..may the footfall be heavy and the natives friendly!

Go to the mini roundabout in Amesbury, take the high street turning (ie put the bus station on your left) and continue to the T junction.  Turn right.  The shop is about 3 doors down from the traffic lights.  There is a public car park staggered opposite the Library...park. Put your back tot he car park entrance and walk through towards the surgery...you'll see Kraft Crazy as you get to the buildings.  The mini roundabout and car park are both singular features on the main road through Amesbury, so not difficult, promise!

I wish Shopkeeper gal better luck with her opening than I had reading your directions. Here in KANSAS (I know, across a very deep pond), we have directions, like "one mile east, three blocks west, second entrance after the light (stoplight)." No roundabouts, T junctions, and high streets in my world!

Regardless, tell her I wish her the best.

Oooh lucky you to have such a shop, wish we did. I too giggled at Elisabeth's comment and can only imagine the confusion for our friends across the pond. I will no doubt seek the shop out when I get down your way....soon I hope. Zo xx

How exciting...I'm sure they'll be a real buzz happening and I wish everyone a huge success.
I'd obviously nip over if it wasn't 12,000 miles so will wait to hear all the news later. ;D
Have fun and good luck! xoxo

Hope the grand opening went well today. Shop looks great, lots of room and light, will have to remember if ever I'm down that way.
As for the directions, how do you 'put the bus station on your left'? Do you have to lift it up and plonk it there???

Now that looks like one really nice stocked shop, why couldn't you shop in peace I mean you would pay, so what's the problem? You could put your stash under the counter until the shop opens officially.

Sorry can't be there the swim across the pond is a bit to far, so wish them luck from Aussie land down under I hope all goes off with a purching blast.

Having attended on the Saturday and picked up a couple of craft staples, Julia's photo doesn't quite do the shop justice - it's beautifully light and was oh-so-busy for the hour I was there. Lady Mayor showed up too.... and I studiously avoided the cupcakes, apart from photographing them!

Sigh, I knew we should have turned off for Amesbury on Monday instead of going to Salisbury :(
