EARWIGO What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday

EARWIGO again. Geddit? Well it's not a silly acronym at least! Fairly early post for me today, on weather watch for college, so while I'm enjoying my coffee I thought I'd take advantage of the really bad light that the snow is reflecting. So I present my unadulterated, non-photoshop enhanced desk. As I left it last night.

There's a plastic bubble from the new printer cartridge I had to install at about 10pm when I finally decided the subject of the mini album you can see as a work in progress. Well, you can't see much actually, 3 pages under my glasses and the chipboard covers and tabs are conveniently located under the tape and stuff at the right. My mini bin is having some success, so am claiming an intention fulfilled with that one! The papers of course, are from Basic Grey - the Sugar Rush collection pack. I end up with the packs because I simply am unable to decide by the sheet, what I might want. Pathetic huh! My card holder is actually in use too, with a few ideas for a future workshop.

If you'd like to see what Sissy Dunnit has been up to, go look at her photo on this lovely blog: pamkittymorning.blogspot.com - scroll down a teeny bit, she's pictured next to the 'tablecloth' she's currently sewing. WoW! Just in case you can't tell, she's the one hiding behind the bolt of fabric! How kind of PKM to post in time for WOYWW!

So that's me, what about you today? What's on your workdesk, tray, table, lap, floor? We would very much like to have a nosey; we like to see what you've got that we haven't (unless you're Susie - there's NOTHING left for her to get!). Leave a comment here and we'll whizz round for a rummage. Thanks for sharing. If you like, there's a button to snatch in the left margin. It will kinda mark you out though.

Good morning Julia on yet another Wintery Wednesday. Your work space always makes you look busy. The snow has advantages...it's keeping customers from my door and allowing me more play time :-)

Happy New Year Julia - hope its a good one for you. Nothing on my desk however, I'm giving the crafting a miss for a while, apart from the inchy blog of course. Just crafted out due to SU! Maybe i'll pick it up again in a few months - busy with the new pup at the moment!

Hi Julia,
Your desk is looking tidy! I could do with one of those 'To Do' thingys; anything important I need to remeber I have to put as a reminder on my mobile phone :-\ If I have a written list it tends to get buried under other stuff. BTW you'll see if you check my desk out today that as well as Tim's wonderful reindeer stamp I now have the lovely Inkadinkadoo reindeer stamp that you have; it's a great set of stamps and I finally have a decent Christmas greeting stamp ;)
I've just read your 'controversial' post about a kit on QVC some months ago and I agree with you. I'm sure many of us have been tempted though in the past 'cos the kits look good, then they lie virtually untouched 'cos it's difficult to make the cards your own when all the bits are done for you!

Morning Julia and Ladies,

I just posted my second WOYWW post over at Create With Joy - please check it out and leave me some love, I am still a shy newbie when it comes to baring my soul (and my workspace, lol!)

http://create-with-joy.blogspot.com/2010/01/woyww-2-cat-chat-frugal-finds.html

Julia, last week your eyes went right to my CTMH organizer on my desk (which I still have to post the close-ups of for you) - well my eyes went right to that beautiful paper! Since all of the good new LSS in my area closed, I haven't kept up with all of the lines (I'm trying to focus on using up my stuff more anyway!) - especially as paper is one of my MAJOR weaknesses, lol!

By the way, you would THINK that this challenge would have inspired me to CLEAN UP my workspace this past week huh? But nope - I can assure you that I just ADDED to the mess (but I had good productive fun in the process!)

Hugs
Ramona :-)

Nice view of yer bin outside the window there! But I like the look of all the activity on your worktop, and the sound of your mini book!

Rosie said...

But I forgot to say, one's workspace piccy is on one's blog! One can't remember how to do a proper link .... menopausal brain death.

Kaz said...

Well I laughed at that comment about Susie as I've put something on my blog that I saw on her desk and had to get. She's a bad influence isn't she?!!
Your desk is looking good and you'll recognise I'm using the same papers as you, only in the smaller size.
Bet you get like me and don't empty your mini bin, just keep pushing stuff further and further down until you knock it on the floor and spill it everywhere!!
My space is here xx

Hi Julia,

It's me again - thanks for your comment! I think I found your stamping post and yes, I can relate. I rarely buy woodmounts anymore for a nunmber of reasons, space being a prime one, and my acrylic collection is really out of control (thank goodness this blog isn't "show off your whole room mess!") but I just REALLY couldn't resist at 80 cents a pop (even if I probably have those very same words floating SOMEWHERE in my not so organized collection!)

But - I couldn't find a SEARCH button on your blog and I am dying to read the QVC post that a previous commenter referred to - so, could you direct the curious among us to that post?

Thanks bunches!

Ramona :-)

Hi Julia me again I store my nesties in there packets only cause I tend to throw them in a pile on the shelf behind me and find it easy to rummage. They are also fairly new I bought 4 sets before christmas well it was cheaper than just ordering them seperately!!!!! Hugs Pam
